The Lenovo 4XB7A87526 ThinkSystem PM893a 1.92TB Read Intensive SSD is an enterprise-grade 2.5-inch solid-state drive designed for read-intensive and general-purpose data center workloads. Built on the Samsung PM893a platform, it combines reliable SATA 6Gb connectivity, strong read performance, enterprise data protection, and self-encrypting drive capabilities.
With a 1.92TB capacity, the drive delivers up to 97,000 random read IOPS, 31,000 random write IOPS, and sequential speeds of up to 560 MB/s read and 530 MB/s write. Its endurance rating of 1 DWPD for five years, equivalent to 3,504 TBW, makes it suitable for workloads such as web serving, cloud infrastructure, content delivery, caching, databases, and analytics.
The PM893a incorporates TCG Opal self-encrypting drive (SED) technology, allowing data to be encrypted at the drive level without affecting storage performance. Additional enterprise features include Samsung V6 128-layer TLC V-NAND, Advanced ECC, End-to-End Data Protection, power-loss protection, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, and Dynamic Thermal Guard.
Supplied in a ThinkSystem 2.5-inch hot-swap tray, the 4XB7A87526 is designed for compatible Lenovo ThinkSystem server platforms.
