This preconfigured model features dual Gen2 DE6000 64GB controllers, providing 128GB of total system memory, along with two 32Gb Fibre Channel 4-port host interface cards for high-speed SAN connectivity. Its dual active-active controller architecture supports automatic load balancing and failover for enhanced availability.
The DE6000F accommodates up to 24 hot-swap 2.5-inch SAS SSDs in its base 2U enclosure and can scale to 120 drives with up to four ThinkSystem DE240S expansion enclosures, supporting up to 1.84PB of raw storage capacity.
Enterprise storage capabilities include Dynamic Disk Pools, multiple RAID levels, snapshots, thin provisioning, synchronous and asynchronous mirroring, data assurance, and web-based management.
