The Lenovo ThinkSystem AMD Alveo V70 Datacenter Accelerator Adapter is an energy-efficient AI inference accelerator designed for demanding video analytics, natural language processing (NLP), smart city, and smart retail workloads. Built on the AMD XDNA Versal AI Core architecture, it combines 2nd Gen AIE-ML tiles with high-performance memory and AI processing capabilities for cloud and edge environments.
The Alveo V70 delivers up to 404 TOPS INT8 and 202 TOPS BF16 performance with 50% weight sparsity, along with up to 47.6 TB/s internal memory bandwidth. Its integrated high-density video decoder supports up to 96 channels of 1920 × 1080p video at 10 fps using H.264/H.265, making it particularly suited for large-scale video inference applications.
Featuring a PCIe Gen5 x8 interface, passive cooling, and a power-efficient 75W TDP, the V70 provides scalable AI acceleration without requiring an auxiliary power cable. It also supports AMD Vitis AI and popular machine-learning frameworks including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
