The LRXI Industrial KVM Extender (ACU5600A) enables you to locate your mission-critical computer hardware in a secure, temperature controlled environment up to 4km away from the user while keep the usual desktop experience. The high-grade screening employed within the metal cased enclosures combined with the immunity from interference of the fibre optic links make the LRXI Industrial Fibre Extender highly suitable for real time control and video monitoring in 'noisy' industrial environments.

Video
The video extension is visually lossless with no visible artefacts or latency allowing you to rely on quality and control even from a distant user console. The LRXI KVM extenders support resolutions up to Dual Link DVI (2560 x 1600 @60Hz). The embedded intelligent EDID management passes the true characteristics of the monitor back to the computer to ensure always the optimum video quality at the console.

Flexible Fibre Link
DVI, USB, Audio and serial data all are transmitted over a single duplex fibre optic cable with LC connectors. Choose the multi-mode option for distances up to 150m or the single mode version with an extended range of 4km. Using SFP-technology you may utilize your KVM extender with a different SFP module when your distance or cable requirement changes.

USB HID & 2.0 low, full & high-speed
The LRXI KVM Extender features two USB ports that support any USB HID device as well as USB 2.0 peripherals including storage and isochrones devices. Thus, you can connect any USB device from mice and keyboards through to touch screens, graphics tablets, 3D explorers or web cams and headsets.

Secure Web-based control
LRXI KVM Extender units generally configure themselves automatically and begin working together correctly as soon as they are connected. Where configuration changes or remote monitoring of temperature and status are required, the management application provides an intuitive web user interface. The web access is protected by HTTP digest authentication (RFC 2617) with username and password.

Bi-directional stereo Audio and Serial
The LRXI extender can support multiple audio devices, such as stereo headphones, a mono microphone or line-level in/out connections. It delivers CD-quality stereo audio (24-bit sampling at 96kHz).
The Options port provides an RS232 serial connection with the remote unit. When serial devices are attached to the local options port, their signals are transparently transmitted via the fibre optic link, at rates up to 115200 baud - no serial configuration is required.
